We start by washing the wool at our mill. Then we have 12 different machines to fully develop an extraordinary yarn. The machines come from a family firm located at Prince Edward Island in Canada. The machines are besides the washer: a picker, fiber separator, carder, draw frame, rug-yarn-maker, spinner, plyer, skein winder, ball winder, cone winder, and a steamer. We use the most environmentally friendly ingredients as possible and avoid strong chemicals in processing the wool. Our goal is to fully use every fleece and therefore we try to invent products that can be made from the fiber that does not fit for yarn. Our own wool that doesn't go into yarn, we even use as fertilizer in our garden.
